Extra profiles

 

A Profile View can contain several profiles. In a drill design, at least an EG and the drill centerline are present as Profiles. Using the indicated button on the Palette, other profiles can be added:

A profile always needs a name. Also a style can be applied. The source can be an existing terrain model, if available, and only if the Alignment falls within the bounds of the model. But also the source can be 3D objects in top view, a 2D polyline drawn in side view or based on a fixed elevation.

It is also possible to set the new profile to be the Existing Ground, a Groundwater Level or an As-built drill centerline. Drill Control will then allow any design objects to connect to the new profile line.
