Exaggeration

 

In Civil 3D, it is easy to customize the style of a Profile View so that it is drawn with a vertical exaggeration:

The calculations that Drill Control must perform are not designed for this. The main reason is that the arcs in a Profile are converted into parabola. With this, the application cannot perform calculations and a message will be displayed as soon as it is found that the Profile View contains a vertical exaggeration:

However, it is possible to create a new Profile View yourself using Civil 3D functionality. By default, all Profiles are shown in it which is linked to the corresponding Alignment. The new Profile View can easily be provided with an exaggeration. Drill Control will not be able to provide this Profile View with symbols and bands.
