Topography

 

The topographic situation refers to the top view of the as-built drill. Depending on the chosen method, this step will show certain input fields.

 

For method 'Pitch and depth':

 

For method 'Coordinates':

 

For method '3D polyline', there is no choice regarding the topography.

 

For method 'Distance and depth':

 

Start position

For some situations it is necessary to specify a starting point for the as-built drill, and possibly a target point. These points can be determined from the drawing.

If 'Select line in drawing' is chosen, the wizard will ask you to select a polyline to be used as path. The cursor displays an arrow to indicate the drill direction:

 

Elevation

If the selected path shows a different start elevation than the set starting elevation, the wizard will ask whether the set elevation should be replaced:

The elevation can also be set relative to the entry point. The elevation is set to 0.0m.

In the next step the properties of the longitudinal section can be set.
