Manual Drill Control

Finalize drill

After a drill has been designed, checked, fine-tuned and checked again, a design can be made final. Finalizing a design involves making a presentation of the design and filling the bands under the Profile View with distance and depth values.

Prior to finalizing the design, the check is performed one more time and if there are any design errors present, a message is displayed:

If the design is accepted, the longitudinal section and the trace will be provided with the presentation.

The pipe and borehole are presented with a hatch and lines:

And along the trace:

Settings

In the settings various adjustments can be made that affect the presentation of the design. For example, the choice of placing band titles only on the left or on both sides, the information about radius and length at the top or bottom of the band set, whether the interval ticks should be extended to EG, whether the entry and exit angles should be shown, and so on.
