Method

 

There are several methods to create an as-built drill.

The field data can consist of pitch and depth, coordinates (optional local coordinates or Lat/Lon), a 3D polyline or distance and depth values.

It is possible to check the option to export both the drill centerline and the EG Surface as polylines too. Now it is easy to make modifications to the polylines instead of manipulating the Profile entities. In the Finalize step, the polylines are recognized and can be used as new geometry.

In the next step the topographic view can be set. If the method '3D Polyline' was selected, the wizard will ask you to select a 3D polyline. If the polyline is valid, the step 'Topography' will be skipped and the step 'Longitudinal section' will be continued.
